What Tripo does
- Text to 3D and image to 3D (multi-view to 3D on paid plans)
- AI texturing (up to 4K textures) and retopology
- Auto-rigging and stylization presets

Pricing and licensing
Tripo's free plan gives 200 credits a month (Tripo estimates about 13 models); free models are public and non-commercial, and Tripo keeps the rights to them. Paid plans start with Professional at $20/month billed annually (3,000 credits/month), with private models, commercial use, and Tripo states it won't train on paid users' inputs and outputs. Bottom line: the free plan is for trying it out. If you'll ship models in a commercial game, you need a paid plan.
Who it's for
Solo devs and small teams who need lots of props, characters and environment pieces fast. Like every AI 3D tool, hero assets usually still need cleanup in Blender.
