How to Vibe Code a Game
Vibe coding a game means describing what you want and letting AI write the code while you playtest and steer. Here's a practical path from idea to playable build.
Step by step
- Start tiny. One mechanic, one level. Write a one-paragraph design doc.
- Pick a path. No code at all: Rosebud AI builds browser games from prompts. Want a real engine: a web game (Phaser/Three.js) or Godot with Cursor or Claude Code.
- Prompt in small steps. "Add player movement with WASD", playtest, then the next feature. Commit to git after each working step.
